Welcome to Newcv.io, operated by Newcv.io ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our services. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our platform.

1. General Information

Newcv.io is a resume-building platform that provides users with tools to create, edit, and customize professional resumes. Our services are available globally and offered in English.

2. User Accounts

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use our platform. By registering, you confirm that you meet this eligibility requirement.

2.2 Registration

To access our services, you must create an account by providing accurate information, including your name and email address. You are responsible for keeping this information up to date.

2.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Any unauthorized use of your account is your responsibility, and we are not liable for damages or losses resulting from such incidents.

3. Services Offered

3.1 Core Features

Newcv.io provides tools to create and customize resumes, including:

• Resume creation
• Resume imports (e.g., LinkedIn integration)
• Access to customizable templates
• Editing and downloading resumes

3.2 Service Access

Our services are subscription-based, with additional options for one-time template purchases.

3.3 Usage Restrictions

Our platform is for personal use only. Commercial use of our services is strictly prohibited.

4. Payments, Subscriptions, Premium Credits, Cancellations and Refunds

4.1 Payment

Access to paid NEWCV.IO services requires payment.

We accept the payment methods displayed during checkout. Available payment methods may vary depending on your country, device, currency and payment provider.

All prices, taxes, billing periods and applicable charges are shown before you complete your purchase.

The amount and currency shown on the final checkout page are the amounts that apply to your purchase.

Currency conversions shown elsewhere on NEWCV.IO are provided for convenience only and may be approximate.

4.2 Subscription Plans

NEWCV.IO currently offers the following monthly subscription plans:

• Basic at $4.95 per month
• Starter at $9.95 per month
• Pro at $19.95 per month
• Premium at $34.95 per month
• Ultimate at $49.95 per month

The exact features, usage allowances and Premium Credits included with each plan are displayed on the NEWCV.IO pricing page and during checkout.

Current monthly Premium Credit allowances are:

• Basic includes 0 Premium Credits
• Starter includes 2 Premium Credits per month
• Pro includes 5 Premium Credits per month
• Premium includes 10 Premium Credits per month
• Ultimate includes 15 Premium Credits per month

NEWCV.IO may introduce additional plans, billing periods or promotional offers in the future.

4.3 Premium Credits

Certain AI powered and premium functions on NEWCV.IO require Premium Credits.

The number of credits required for an action is displayed or communicated within the platform where applicable.

Premium Credits may be used for eligible premium functionality such as resume generation, job specific resume tailoring, resume auditing and other AI powered services made available by NEWCV.IO.

Premium Credits have no monetary value.

Premium Credits cannot be exchanged for cash.

Premium Credits cannot be sold or transferred unless NEWCV.IO expressly allows this.

Unused Premium Credits do not create a refundable monetary balance.

Cancellation of a subscription does not create any right to receive a cash payment or refund for unused Premium Credits.

NEWCV.IO may update which features require Premium Credits and how Premium Credits are used, subject to applicable law.

4.4 Recurring Billing and Automatic Renewal

All monthly subscriptions automatically renew each billing period until cancelled.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize NEWCV.IO and its payment providers to automatically charge your selected payment method for each recurring billing period.

You are responsible for cancelling your subscription before the next renewal date if you do not want the subscription to renew.

Failure to use your account, Premium Credits or any NEWCV.IO feature does not automatically cancel your subscription.

Deleting a resume, stopping use of NEWCV.IO or no longer logging into your account does not constitute cancellation.

Your subscription remains active until it is properly cancelled through an available cancellation method.

4.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your NEWCV.IO subscription at any time through the available account or subscription management options, or through another cancellation method provided by NEWCV.IO.

Cancellation prevents future subscription renewals.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, cancellation does not reverse a payment that has already been processed.

After cancellation, your paid subscription normally remains active until the end of the billing period that has already been paid.

No additional cancellation fee is charged by NEWCV.IO for cancelling a monthly subscription.

Where applicable law provides additional cancellation rights, those rights remain unaffected.

4.6 Strict No Refund Policy

Except where a refund is required by applicable law, all payments made to NEWCV.IO are final and nonrefundable.

NEWCV.IO does not provide refunds or partial refunds because a user:

• Changes their mind after purchasing
• Does not use the service
• Does not use all available Premium Credits
• Does not use all features included in a subscription
• Forgets to cancel before a subscription renewal
• No longer needs the service
• Finds another service
• Is dissatisfied with AI generated content
• Is dissatisfied with a resume, audit, recommendation, template or other generated result
• Does not receive an interview, job offer or other employment outcome
• Does not achieve an expected ATS score or recruiter response
• Purchases the wrong subscription plan
• Fails to use the subscription during the billing period
• Requests cancellation after a renewal payment has already been processed

A subscription purchase provides access to NEWCV.IO for the purchased billing period. Lack of usage does not create a right to a refund.

No prorated refund is provided for unused time remaining in a billing period unless required by applicable law.

4.7 Immediate Access to Digital Services

NEWCV.IO provides digital services that may become available immediately after payment.

These services may include resume creation, AI generated content, resume tailoring, resume audits, Premium Credits, template access, resume editing, resume imports, LinkedIn imports, translation tools, writing tools and PDF generation.

Where applicable law provides a statutory withdrawal or cooling off period, and where the law permits that right to be waived or affected by immediate performance, you expressly request that NEWCV.IO begin providing the digital service immediately.

Where required by applicable law, you may also be asked during checkout to expressly acknowledge the consequences that immediate performance may have on any statutory withdrawal right.

Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

4.8 Duplicate Charges, Unauthorized Payments and Service Problems

The general policy of NEWCV.IO is that payments are final.

If you believe that you have been charged more than once for the same purchase, contact us at hello@newcv.io.

If you believe a payment was genuinely unauthorized, contact us promptly and contact your payment provider where appropriate.

If a technical issue prevents an eligible purchased service from being provided, NEWCV.IO may first attempt to restore access, correct the issue, repeat the affected action, replace the affected service or provide an appropriate account credit.

A monetary refund will only be provided where NEWCV.IO chooses to provide one or where applicable law requires it.

This section does not limit mandatory statutory rights concerning defective or nonconforming digital services.

4.9 Failed Payments

If a recurring payment fails, NEWCV.IO or its payment provider may attempt to process the payment again.

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to paid features if payment remains unpaid.

You remain responsible for valid charges incurred before suspension or termination.

NEWCV.IO is not responsible for fees charged by your bank, card provider or other payment provider.

4.10 Price and Plan Changes

NEWCV.IO may change subscription prices, plan structures, Premium Credit allowances and included features from time to time.

Changes will not retroactively increase a payment that has already been completed.

Where required by applicable law, users will receive appropriate notice before a change applies to an existing recurring subscription.

If applicable law gives you a right to cancel because of a material change, that right remains unaffected.

The pricing and plan information displayed at checkout will apply to new purchases.

4.11 Taxes

Prices may be subject to VAT, sales tax or other taxes depending on your location and applicable law.

Where required, applicable taxes may be calculated and added during checkout or included in the displayed price.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing and tax information.

4.12 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe there is an issue with a payment, we encourage you to contact NEWCV.IO at hello@newcv.io so that we can investigate the matter.

Submitting a knowingly false, fraudulent or abusive payment dispute may result in restriction or termination of your NEWCV.IO account.

Where a payment dispute is opened, NEWCV.IO may provide relevant records to the payment provider, including account information, purchase records, subscription information, login records, usage information, generated services, cancellation records and communications relating to the transaction.

NEWCV.IO reserves the right to recover unpaid amounts where permitted by law.

Nothing in this section prevents a user from exercising legitimate rights available under applicable consumer protection or payment laws.

4.13 No Guarantee of Employment Outcomes

Payment for NEWCV.IO provides access to software, tools and digital services.

NEWCV.IO does not sell or guarantee employment outcomes.

Purchasing a subscription does not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, salary increases, recruiter responses, ATS acceptance or any particular career result.

The absence of such an outcome does not create a right to a refund.

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership of User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to Newcv.io, including resumes and CVs ("User Content"). By using our platform, you grant Newcv.io a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and process your content solely to provide and improve our services. We will not use your resume content for marketing, advertising, or sharing with third parties without your explicit consent.

5.2 Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload any illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content to our platform. We reserve the right to remove such content and, if necessary, suspend or terminate your account.

5.3 Information Added to CVs / Resumes

When using Newcv.io, users may provide additional personal information for the purposes of creating or customizing their CVs. This may include phone numbers, addresses, date of birth or age, employment history, educational details, skills, certifications, and other professional qualifications. By adding this information to your CV, you grant Newcv.io permission to store and process it solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services. Newcv.io does not use this information for marketing, advertising, or sharing with third parties without your explicit consent.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership of Templates

All templates, designs, and features provided by Newcv.io are the intellectual property of Newcv.io. You may not copy, distribute, or modify them without explicit authorization.

6.2 Copyright Infringement

If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed upon, please notify us at hello@newcv.io. We will investigate and address valid claims in accordance with applicable laws.

7. Liability and Warranty

7.1 Service Availability

While we strive to ensure uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee that our platform will always be operational or error-free. In cases where a technical issue prevents you from downloading a PDF resume, we will provide a free replacement download.

7.2 User Responsibility

You are responsible for how you use resumes created on our platform, including their accuracy and suitability for your intended purposes.

8. Privacy Policy

Your use of Newcv.io is also governed by our Privacy Policy. That document explains how we collect, store, and protect your personal data. By agreeing to these Terms, you also consent to our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination of Accounts

9.1 Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account under the following circumstances:

• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Violation of these Terms
• Misuse of our platform

9.2 User-Initiated Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings on the platform.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

In the event of disputes, users are encouraged to contact us to resolve the matter informally. We do not currently offer formal arbitration or mediation services.

11. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Users will be notified via email at least one month in advance of changes. Continued use of the platform after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
